plan your meetings and events. On-site
professional conference services coordinators—the meeting
planner’s single point of contact before,
during and after the meeting.
Our services are
available to you as an economical and reliable
way of eliminating the worries and hassles of
creating a program while trying to arrange the
many logistics necessary to service a successful
meeting.
University Outreach Conference Services includes:

Assistance in establishing the goals and objectives
of your conference

Complete pre-planning and on-site management
, including assistance in assembling
instructional materials; monitor testing; certificate
processing

Meeting room assignments and space utilization

Scheduling and arrangement of all food and
beverage needs, both on and off campus

Coordinating audio/visual and sound requirements

Housing and transportation; conference secretariat
and program evaluation

Full registration support; collection
and process of all registration fees;
confirmations/receipts sent to registered attendees;
preparation of final financial reports;
assistance with on-site registration, including
preparing and distributing special conference
registration packets, computer-generated name
tags and participant roster

Meeting brochure development and printing;
marketing and promotional support

Process mailing
- Extra-curricular activities, such as guest/spouses’ programs,
tours, entertainment and recreation
at the University of Oklahoma and other facilities.

Meeting Event Management Certificate Program
The Meeting Event Management Certificate Program offered by the University of Oklahoma Outreach is the credential that will increase your marketability in the billion dollar, continuously evolving event planning industry. Whether it’s a small, five-person work retreat or a city-wide festival two years in the making, planning and executing a successful event takes multifaceted know-how.
Anyone who is responsible for meeting and event planning will benefit from attending this program, both long-time veterans as well as newcomers to the profession. Completion of the program also helps those who wish to take the national Certified Meeting Professional examination.
