Rosemary Hayes,
directs the research activities of the Center for
Institutional Data Exchange and Analysis. She also
coordinates the Consortium for Student Retention
Data Exchange (CSRDE), comprised of 475 universities
across the country. Through the CSRDE, she oversees
the annual study of the retention and graduation
rates of first-time, full-time freshman; first-time,
full-time science, technology and mathematics majors;
and community college transfer to four-year institutions.
In addition to publishing annual national reports
and papers on the retention and graduation rates
of college students, Ms. Hayes continues to publish
and present in the area of her academic discipline:
computer information systems. She has written over
25 self-help manuals on computing topics and has
published articles and presented papers on the
usability of Web sites and online systems. Ms.
Hayes received her doctorate from Nova Southeastern
University in computer information systems and
focused her dissertation on "Multi-criteria
Decision Analysis Framework for Selecting Suitable
Learning Management Systems."
