Edward Gregorio currently
serves as director of the Workforce Oklahoma Training
Institute. Workforce Oklahoma provides in-service
training and a certification program for the state
and local employees of the many agencies in the
employment and training system in Oklahoma. Mr.Gregorio
worked for nine years in the public school system
and 20 years in the Oklahoma employment and training
system at the Eastern Private Industry Council
(EPIC) in Muskogee.
At EPIC, he served as adult
education teacher, summer youth counselor, counselor/job
developer for adult and youth programs, youth
programs coordinator and procurement officer.
He worked in collaboration with the previous directors
of the training institute to develop the employment
and training certificate program and to create
new reporting methods and forms for the Oklahoma
workforce system. Mr. Gregorio also was the One
Stop Career Center coordinator and One Stop staff
supervisor.
He attended Northeastern State University
in Tahlequah, Okla., where he received a bachelor's
degree in history and sociology and a master's
degree in special education.
